Visiting Taipei, Taiwan through Three Characters

Some for fun paintovers I did with Kato, Paya, and Kuma going through my photos and experiences through Taiwan. Growing up, I always went back to Taipei with family, and this was my first trip ever going alone with Moo. :)

Zhongshan district was a pleasant surprise, such a lively vibrant area filled with locals enjoying the art scene and independent creative and boutique stores.

Huashan park is always a staple to visit to discover character brands, cute art styles, and just the heart of artists in Taipei.

I heard about the hack to visit the 88th floor instead of the 101st floor when visiting Taipei 101 and i LOVED IT. I already love going to Simple Kaffa, an award winning coffee spot in Taipei, so this was a double plus :)

First time trying a one-Michelin star restaurant in Taipei: this was HOSU, a super intentional and storytold establishment with a modern take on Taiwanese tradition. I was seriously blown away by all the level of intentionality of all ingredients to tell the immigration history and cultural diasporic backgrounds that make up the city.

This was honestly a favorite breakfast spot, the best XLB on the trip haha. Usually we got to Fuhang Soymilk which is more tourist known, but this one was such a delicious spot.

Stunning view from Taipei 101 from Simple Kaffa floor. They close at 6 and around this time of year the sun set a bit earlier, so this was our incredible view :)
